celebrating/getting spoiled

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the kind words on my last post, you're the best. ♥  I'm so excited for this little adventure, and I hope you are too. I've been so spoiled the last couple of days, let's have a look:

To celebrate, I bought a bouquet of tulips that now stand on my desk and make the whole room smell like spring.

Next to the tulips I've put a pretty card that Otto gave to me on Friday (with the cutest message inside), both to celebrate that I got in to York and because it was our facebook anniversary, i.e. one year since Otto sent me a message on facebook asking if I wanted to go for a coffee.

And he also gave me this treasure!! I almost cried, I was so happy and so surprised.

The illustrations are magical (hehe), and I've already spent too much time procrastinating by flicking through the book.

Otto and I saw the Revenant on Friday night (it blew our minds, see it!) and didn't come home until 3ish in the morning, so on Saturday we had a really lazy morning, skipped breakfast and went straight for brunch instead. I made waffles that we ate with Otto's amazing scrambled eggs, mushed avocado, cream cheese and salmon.

Okay, a bit blurry but Otto is too cute on this photo so I have to put it here anyway. I mean, no wonder I said yes when he asked if I wanted to go for a coffee, because who can say no to those cheekbones and that smile? I can't.

The best breakfast/brunch I've ever had, with the best person I've ever had. ♥ (Okay, I'm going to stop with the cheese now.)

And the celebrations are not over yet, because yesterday this arrived in the mail! I decided to treat my self with some luxurious (i.e. expensive) eyeshadows to reward myself for all the hard work. This palette is from MAC and it's called Burgundy Times Nine, I saw it on Annelie's blog and fell in love.

I used it for the first time today and I have a feeling it'll become my new favourite. Okay, now I need to continue studying, talk to you soon!
