hello piggaboda

So guess what? Iā€™m in Sweden for 10 days!! My grandmother is celebrating her 80th birthday this weekend, and since I don't have any classes in November I figured I might as well stay for a bit longer. So far I've mostly been studying (surprise), but it feels fantastic to swap the QMU library for a homely kitchen, complete with a warm dog snoozing in my lap and Swedish coffee.

Having missed out on previous Novembers in Piggaboda, I'm completely taken aback by how beautiful this place is right now; the bare trees swaying in the wind; the fields, damp and yellow; the approaching winter slowly draining the land from colour and noise, only leaving a soft murmur behind. Must be the best cure for a stressed soul, right?
